This holiday season, OGP Cares was proud to support the Orange County youth basketball community with a heartwarming Season of Giving campaign. Our efforts included a gear drive, canned food drive, free basketball clinic, and a toy drive, all designed to uplift and provide for those in need.
Gear drive
Through the gear drive, OGP Cares collected gently used athletic gear such as shoes and clothing, ensuring that local youth basketball players have the necessary equipment to thrive on the court.
Canned food drive and free basketball clinic
In addition to the gear drive, OGP Cares hosted a canned food drive during Thanksgiving season to help support families in need across the community. The donations went directly to a local food bank, providing nutritious meals for families during the holiday season. This initiative was a vital part of our commitment to supporting the Orange County youth basketball community and ensuring that no family goes without food during this special time of year. The generous contributions from local families played a key role in making this drive a success and brought much-needed relief to many households in Orange County. A free basketball clinic took place, inviting participants to bring non perishables
Operation Santa Claus toy drive
Our toy drive, which took place during a media night at Ladera Ranch, was another major highlight of the OGP Cares campaign. In partnership with Operation Santa Claus, OGP Cares collected toys that were donated to foster children and seniors in Orange County. The toys provided a bright spot for children and seniors, further demonstrating how the Orange County youth basketball community can come together to make a real difference. Through these initiatives, OGP Cares is proud to spread holiday cheer and give back to the community that supports youth sports and basketball in Orange County.
