OGP Cares has partnered with Boys and Girls Club of Garden Grove, the California After School Network, Positive Coaching Alliance, Play Works, Math Hoops, and ASAP to host The National Day of Play, a national effort led by LA84  and Play Equity Fund. This day is a FREE fun filled day with training and activities to support organizations, staff, youth and families who have a passion for sports, such as youth basketball. 

We will be spending the professional development time teaching Non-profit professionals skills and drills they can teach at their various locations. The afternoon sessions will have kids come in and go through the various skills and drills taught by Open Gym Premier and the Non-profit professionals.  This event provides kids an opportunity to be active, learn new training methods and Sports that could spark passion. These professionals will create a fun environment where kids will create fond memories of having physical activity such as playing a sport, training intervals. This initiative will run the entire week of June 25th-29th at multiple locations throughout California. This event will build strong relationships with our community in Orange County and California.
